An Evening of Fellowship and Reflection: Celebrating the Feast of St. John the Baptist
What a wonderful and humbling experience we shared last night at Lubbock Commandery No. 60 as we gathered to celebrate the Feast of Saint John, honoring the profound legacy of John the Baptist.
The hall was filled with a spirit of reverence and camaraderie. The highlight of the evening was an insightful presentation by SK Chris Bates. He shared the powerful history of St. John the Baptist, reminding us all why his life of steadfast conviction and principle serves as a timeless example for every Mason and particularly for a Sir Knight.
An event like this is only possible through the hard work of dedicated individuals. We extend our immense gratitude to the committee members who meticulously planned the celebration and personally served dinner to all 18 guests in attendance. Thank you, Chris Bates, Justin Ray Glosson, and Ethan Robinson, for serving us and hosting such a flawless and meaningful evening.
The warmth and success of this feast have us eagerly anticipating our next gathering. We are already beginning to plan December’s feast to honor John the Evangelist. Stay tuned for details—it promises to be another event you won’t want to miss!
