“The Round-Up” was a success! A two-day Convivium in quite possibly the most “Texas Town” – Turkey, TX! Headquartered at Hotel Turkey, we celebrated in the home region of our Grand High Priest with an evening of Companionship together. The following day (March 29), we resumed labor in the quarry at Floydaya Chapter and Council at their lodge 45 minutes southwest.
Lubbock York Rite has a strong showing and support. The event had 10 candidates, receiving all Chapter and Council degrees. Many Grand Officers were in attendance, including Most Excellent Payton. The candidates greatly enjoyed the experience of having the degrees conferred by some of the best ritualists in the state.
Companion Jeremy Hogan, very instrumental in the degree work during the festival, was also presented with the Golden Keystone Award. Congratulations Companion Hogan!
