Last night Eminent Commander Jeff Goolsby of Lubbock Commandery No 60 presented Sir Knight Dustin Delano, and Sir Knight James Clark (not pictured) with our first ever “Finus Branham Award”
Finus Branham was a beloved member of our Commandery, and truly a masons mason in our community, who would always go beyond what he was called to do for the service of his brothers, companions, fellow sir knights, and family.
The selective committee truly feel that Sir Knights Dustin and James embody the character that this award is intended to celebrate, and we hope that Sir Knights for generations to come will continue to honor and celebrate the light that our dear brother Finus passed on to us!
This was Eminent Commander Jeff Goolsby’s final stated meeting before Sir Knight Zakary Wyatt takes the reigns of the Commandery, and we would like to extend our gratitude for his hard work and dedication for a successful year.
Let it also be recorded that Sir Knight Zakary Wyatt stated “And if anyone was wondering where the snow flakes came from this morning… well, that is because Sir Knight Johnny Davis got new black shoes!”
