Good morning Companions,

We held our last by-monthly meeting last month. We decided to change our name back to Hugh J. McClellan Chapter, we will meet following Council for a very brief meeting on odd months, and we agreed that no one individual can govern two York Rite bodies without a special vote.

My goal for the year is simple on paper, but it will require lots of elbow grease. We will hold another fundraiser next month, which brought over $600 to the lodge that originally did it. Lubbock will host a School of Instruction on October 25th for Right Excellent Neal Addy. We will receive our Deputy Grand High Priest in February at our monthly meeting. Most importantly, we have five Master Masons who asked to join Lubbock York Rite. We will get these men through all 9 degrees within a year, and we will not host festivals. It is essential to give these men the best degrees we possibly can.

I cannot express my appreciation at your faith in electing me High Priest. I will never ask of another more than I am willing to give from myself. Leading to me is being the first to pull the weight with others behind me. I will learn ritual, I will head committees, I will clean toilets, and I will support Hugh J. McClellan Chapter with my whole heart and spirit.

Fraternally,
Jeremy D. Hogan
